The wait is finally over. Our new Women’s GOATgrid Overalls are here, and yeah, we’re pretty freaking excited about these.
They’re cozy. They’re casual. They’re ridiculously comfortable. They’re functional. And most importantly, they’re just plain fun.
Overalls have been making a comeback, and we totally get it. There’s something about throwing on a pair of overalls that instantly makes an outfit a little more interesting. They’re casual without being boring. A little funky without trying too hard. And they have that perfect laid back vibe that works just as well around a campfire as it does grabbing a beer downtown.
So naturally, we thought...
What if we made overalls out of GOATgrid?
A Little Outside the SkyGOAT Norm
We’ll admit it. Overalls are a bit outside the norm for SkyGOAT.
We’re known for hoodies, jackets, pullovers, and technical mountain layers. Overalls weren’t exactly the obvious next move.
But the more we thought about it, the more they made perfect sense.
At SkyGOAT, we’ve always believed outdoor apparel should do more than perform. It should be comfortable. It should look good. It should feel good. And it should be something you actually want to wear.
We don’t think you should have to choose between technical and comfortable. Or functional and stylish. Or adventure clothes and everyday clothes.
And when you have a fabric as versatile as our custom GOATgrid fleece, you can have a little fun with what outdoor apparel is supposed to look like.
So we did.
Our Secret Weapon: GOATgrid
GOATgrid gives us the freedom to create pieces like these.
We originally developed our custom microgrid fleece because we couldn’t find exactly what we wanted. We wanted something lightweight and warm, breathable and moisture wicking, stretchy, packable, and most importantly, ridiculously soft.
The Overalls use our original 170gsm GOATgrid fleece, giving them that awesome combination of lightweight warmth, breathability, stretch, and serious comfort.
That means you can throw them over a base layer for a chilly morning outside. Wear them with a tee when you’re cruising around town. Pull them on after a big day in the mountains. Pack them for a road trip. Hang around camp in them.
Or wear them while doing absolutely nothing.
We fully support that last activity.
It’s All About Looking Good and Feeling Good
There’s a simple idea behind a lot of what we make at SkyGOAT.
Look good. Feel good.
These Overalls might be one of the purest expressions of that idea yet.
They have an intentionally loose, laid back fit that feels casual and comfortable without looking sloppy. They’re made to move, layer, lounge, wander, travel, hang out, and generally make life a little more comfortable.
Part adventure wear. Part mountain town style. Part ridiculously comfortable lounge wear.
Basically, they’re the kind of thing you put on because they feel amazing and keep wearing because you look pretty damn cool in them.
The Little Details Matter
Of course, we couldn’t just make a pair of fleece overalls and call it good.
We spent time on the little things.
Adjustable shoulder straps let you dial in the fit and length depending on your body, your layers, and how you like to wear them.
There’s a side zipper that makes getting in and out of them much easier.
And yes, we absolutely thought about bathroom stops. You’re welcome.
The foldable leg cuffs let you adjust the length and switch up the look. But there’s another little surprise hiding there. The inside of the cuffs features a fun mosaic pattern designed to show when you roll them up.
It’s a small detail.
It’s also one of our favorites.
Those little touches are what make these feel like SkyGOAT. Functional where they need to be. Thoughtful where it matters. And never afraid to have a little personality.
Mountain Mornings to Main Street
We can come up with all kinds of places to wear these.
Hiking. Camping. Van life. Travel days. Chilly mornings. Après anything. Brewery hangs. Walking the dog. Road trips. Backyard beers. Couch lounging.
But that’s kind of the point.
You don’t need a specific activity to justify putting them on.
Technical outdoor apparel doesn’t always have to scream technical outdoor apparel. Sometimes the coolest outdoor clothing is the stuff that works outside but feels completely at home everywhere else too.
That’s what we wanted these Overalls to be.
And we think we nailed it.
We Hope You Dig Them as Much as We Do
Making something a little different is always exciting.
These Overalls pushed us outside our usual SkyGOAT lane, while somehow feeling completely SkyGOAT at the same time.
They’re comfortable. Functional. Casual. A little funky. A lot of fun.
And probably the hippest piece we’ve created yet.
We’re super stoked to finally get them out into the world and see where you take them.
Or where you lounge in them.
