Ideal as a featherweight mid-layer or solo piece on milder missions, it offers the same kickass SkyGOAT fit and function, with even less bulk.

Day one: 42 degrees, windy on the Mountain Bike. Zero complaints. Not too warm on climbs, not cold on descent. What more could one ask for?
get one. The 115 weight is perfect.
I tried out the lightweight pullover fleece last weekend. Temperatures started out in the high 40s and I was perfectly comfortable. The temps eventually got into the 60s before I got too warm. The long zipper made it super easy to regulate my temperature. It’s such a comfortable and versatile fleece!
Great fleece top—can’t wait for additional colors. Runs a bit small. Highly recommended.
I’ve worn a lot of microfleece hoodies over the years, pretty much every brand out there, including that one you can only snag in the store, but the SkyGoat brand has earned its place as my absolute favorite, hands down. The latest lightweight version is a game-changer for hiking and fishing.
First off, the Ultralight is incredibly lightweight. At 6’4” and 225 pounds, I’m no small guy, and heavy layers can feel like a burden on the trail or when I’m wading a stream. The Ultralight feels like it’s barely there, yet on my first expedition wearing it, it kept me warm early in the morning when it was pretty cold. When it warmed up later in the day, the breathability was unreal. I pushed hard bushwhacking without overheating. It wicks sweat like a champ and dries almost instantly. No more slogging around in a damp, clammy layer. Like SkyGoat’s other products, the Ultralight shrugs off moisture and keeps performing.
For tall guys like me, the tall versions are a dream. The XLT fits me snugly, perfect for a streamlined feel when I’m active. I also ordered a 2XLT for days when I want a looser, more relaxed fit. Both are spot on, with sleeves and torso length that actually cover me properly. If you are in between sizes or prefer a looser fit, recommend going with a size up, but it will be a touch baggier in the belly area, depending on your body shape.
The half-zip design adds versatility, letting me vent heat fast or seal in warmth depending on the conditions. Love it.
Whether I’m hiking rugged trails or fishing remote streams, the Ultralight delivers. It’s warm enough for chilly mornings but doesn’t let me down when I’m working up a sweat.
In my book, SkyGoat makes the best microfleeces on the market and if you’re looking for something a little lighter for warmer or more active days, this is your model. If you’re looking for a layer that’s light, breathable, quick-drying, and tailored for taller frames (tall version), the SkyGoat Ultralight Half-Zip pullover is as good as it gets.
I bought this because we needed something lighter weight. It is a perfect lighter weight option. The fit, build and feel is fantastic.
