Men's CAMP Hoodie

Oh my, so toasty! I'm really impressed with how warm this is. It's been in the low 20s here, and as long as I'm moving this, paired with a windbreaker, has kept me comfortable.

I initially ordered a women's M, but the sleeves were to short and the hips much to wide for me, but the men's small is pretty much perfect. For reference I'm 5'5 and 135 lbs with a more athletic frame, and I probably could have gone with an XS, though I do like the roominess of a S.

Ram was very helpful on the exchange, and even included a hand written message on the return slip, which is so cool to see.

My only suggestion for improvements would be to offer some hoodie's in earth tones, but the actual product is top notch. Thanks Skygoat!

The sweater was a bit smaller than I had expected. It seems like it is quality made. The color selection is a bit on the teen side. I ordered the gray because that was the only one that didn’t look like it was pieced together. Came fast and the people seem great. I wish I had ordered a size larger. They might consider offering more solid colors like black, red, blue etc…

Finally was able to truly test this hoodie. I used it as a mid-layer over a 115 merino base. Started the morning in 10°F with no to slight breeze weather. Only a faint chill which is perfect for starting the hike. 10-15 minutes into the hike, I was perfect! This hoodie gave great warmth with no breeze. Later in the morning, winds upped to about 10 mph. Definitely needed my jacket to act as a windbreaker at those temps. Overall, great warmth.

The hoodie feels great. Soft. Not snug. The two issues I have with it is 1. (Minor) there isn't a drawstring for the hoodie. I'll have to rig one. 2. Most importantly ... being made of polyester, it lived up to the typical polyester tradition of becoming pungent in smell after 2 days of hiking. I would have absolutely loved to have this as a thru hiking mid-layer, but this will be delegated to serve as my day / weekend hiking hoodie. I really love it, but am saddened by not being able to stand the smell of myself wearing it after only 2 days let alone a week or more between washes for longer hikes.

I purchased the mittens, gaiter, beanie and hoodie. They are all very functional and warm.

Absolutely love this hoodie. I usually wear a women’s small but got a men’s XS because I loved this color. It’s perfect. As usual, SkyGoat produces high quality, locally made garments. I highly recommend.
