Custom GOATgrid
We searched high and low for the perfect functional and cozy fabric. We couldn't find it...so we made it! GOATgrid is a microgrid fleece fabric made from recycled polyester yarn and is lightweight, warm, breathable, and ultra soft. Weighing just 170 g/m², GOATgrid boasts a grid pattern that facilitates and enhances moisture-wicking, breathability, air circulation, and allows for unrestricted movement.

I wanted a mid-layer with a hood, full zipper, and pockets. Bonus with this garment is that not only do you get the hood, but a nice tall collar to keep your neck warm when the hood is down! Build quality is excellent!
This jacket has become my go-to layer. It is lightweight and stretchy but also keeps me so warm. It is perfect for being active outside, snuggling on the couch, and wearing to work over my scrubs. I am small or medium in most brands and got a medium in this. It fits great with room to layer underneath. The colors are more rich/vibrant in person. I can't wait to see it drop in more colors!
This is my first grid fleece hoodie purchase. I wanted something warm and comfortable to throw on for cold mornings/evenings on backpacking trips, and to use as a warm yet breathable midlayer. I haven’t taken this on a trip yet, but I can already tell it will be perfect for my backpacking trip in January!
This hoodie is SUPER soft. It has an almost microfiber feeling fleece on both the inside and outside of the hoodie. The fit is perfect for me as well. It is fitted enough to be a midlayer but loose enough to be comfy and give some room for movement. It fits on the longer side in both the body and sleeves, but the Medium still fit well for me. It definitely feels lightweight both in your hand and on your body. It doesn’t pack down incredibly small, but it is packable enough for what I need.
I tested it in 40° weather with a light breeze and no base layer and it felt great. It was very warm. I see it realistically being warm at least down to freezing, or even below, with a good base layer and shell (if it’s windy). Overall, the warmth to weight ratio is great.
I haven’t tested breathability yet when being active. I could see this honestly getting too warm during activity once it gets up into the 50s. Also, I got the sage green color, and it’s definitely more of a greyish blue than a sage green.
Overall, still very satisfied with this hoodie and excited to take it on my next winter backpacking trip!
Beautiful and so happy to see extended sizing. I wear size 18 usually and I got the 3xl bc I wanted it to be roomy. It was a great fit in the torso but the arms were just barely wide enough for my mighty biceps! So soft and comfy, I'm sure to wear it a lot this winter.
I wore my Skygoat half-zip hoodie or my recent thru-hike of the PCT and loved it! It was a great mid layer and held up well throughout my five months on trail. I enjoyed having the hood. I would definitely buy another Skygoat if needed!
These mittens with open flap are cozy and functional. Purchased for an October trip to Maine where we were uncertain the place we were staying had heat. The mittens were handy for hiking and just relaxing outdoors. We love the fabric, it has a neat checkered look.

I got my husband this fleece for backpacking as he’s very minimalist and ultralight when it comes to gear and he’s already obsessed just from wearing it around the house. It layers perfectly with jackets and is still nice and toasty on its own.

Looks great, certainly different from your average fleece, but in a positive way. Feels very soft and stretchy, deinately will not restrict any movements. As an UL version it's pretty light, but not on Alpha fabric territory. I certainly like the high collar (rare in most mainstream fleece hoodies. It will definitely get lot of use on the trail and also at home :)
This dress is amazing! The fit is absolutely perfect, and I love the pockets so convenient. It’s also great for layering; I’ve been wearing it under a vest or a puffy jacket for extra warmth. And the colors are just gorgeous! Highly recommend.
