Cycling House - Ram Mikulas
I've been stalking your website and social media for the last year, waiting for the right timing to reach out and apply to be a part of your team.
I am writing to express my enthusiasm to be a road and gravel bike tour guide at the Cycling House. I'm an adventurer that loves to be around people outdoors and have fun. With my background as an endurance athlete, avid cyclist, and outdoor enthusiast, coupled with my diverse skills and experiences, I am confident in my ability to contribute positively to the Cycling House team and provide exceptional experiences for tour participants.
My flexible schedule will allow for me to be available for various tours throughout the year. This flexibility, combined with my willingness to take on any needed guide tasks such as driving support, setting up camp, helping with meal preparation, or riding with faster or slower riders will help ensure I can step in wherever you need me.
My entrepreneurial spirit and experience as the owner of SkyGOAT apparel company have equipped me with strong organizational skills, which I know are essential for planning and executing successful tours. I am accustomed to wearing many hats and thrive in dynamic environments where adaptability and initiative are valued.
As President of the US Ski Mountaineering Association, I have honed my leadership, communication and teamwork abilities, essential for leading diverse groups of cyclists and fostering a sense of camaraderie during tours.
My 18 year background in ski industry reservations and eCommerce management and project management has honed my attention to detail and ability to manage logistics efficiently. More importantly, I understand the importance of guest service and relations and it's value to them and the business.
Additionally, my knowledge of basic bike mechanics and commitment to safety and wellbeing (obtained an EMT certification years ago - now lapsed) make me well-suited for guiding tours while prioritizing the comfort and security of participants. I also have the ability to easily travel to US locations via my camper van, eliminating the need for additional housing accommodations.
My wife is from Montana so we visit regularly, spending most of our time in the Flathead Valley, Missoula and Bozeman. I truly enjoy spending time in Montana and would love to assist your team in delivering exceptional bike tours for your guests there and other locations. I am excited about the prospect of sharing my love for cycling and exploring the region's scenic paved and dirt roads with Cycling House guests.
Thank you for considering my application. I am eager to discuss how my background, skills, and enthusiasm can contribute to the success of Cycling House tours. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a meeting.
